Beatitudes Society Summer 2008 Fellowships
Chicago, IL, Washington D.C., and San Francisco Bay Area
20 Seminary/divinity school students have received Fellowships where they will:
- Expand experience in ministry
- Engage in praxis and reflection with peers
- Develop community organizing skills
- Serve God in the world
- Be equipped to change the world

Application period is closed for 2008. Check back here in the Fall for Summer 2009 details.
The Beatitudes Society sponsors Fellows to work as interns at faith-based social change organizations.
Each site will select their Beatitudes Fellow from among those that apply to our program, per applicant preference.
Sites will contact applicants to inform of status
Each Fellow will receive a $3,000 stipend from The Beatitudes Society to help cover travel and living expenses.
Accepted Fellows are responsible for finding their own housing.
The Fellowship is 8 weeks
Fellows will participate in a special seminar in faith-based grassroots community organizing.
Fellowships are only open to graduate students who will be enrolled in seminary/divinity school in Fall
