Description of Work:
The Beatitudes Society Fellow will be engaged in planning an immersion experience for religious leaders slotted for the fall of 2008. Under the direction of the National Religious Outreach Coordinator the fellow will work to promote IWJ’s Labor in the Pulpit/Bimah/Minbar in key policy targets. Additionally, the fellow will collaborate in IWJ’s civic participation project.
Skills Required:
Fellows interested in working at Interfaith Worker Justice will posses the following skills:
- Ability to work independently
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Familiarity with organizing methodologies
- Organizational and planning skills
- Capacity to meeting deadlines
- Able to interact with diverse groups of people of faith
