- Equip you to change the world

Details
- Anyone in seminary NOW is eligible to apply - even those graduating before the Fellowships begin.
- The Fellowship begins June 7 and ends July 30, 2010
- The Beatitudes Society sponsors Fellows to work as interns at social change organizations. Fellows serve at a site in one of the clusters: San Francisco Bay Area, Chicago, Atlanta, or DC.
- Fellows attend weekly group sessions with their mentor, following a curriculum exploring the links between social change advocacy, progressive Christianity and spiritual practice. These sessions provide a place for sharing concerns, theological reflection and synthesis of the internship work experience.
- Fellows participate in a 1-day Auburn Media Training Workshop, a tailored training program to prepare religious leaders and laypeople for communicating effectively with the media.
- Fellows write 3 bi-weekly reflections, participate in occasional conference calls with Beatitudes Society Staff, blog on our website, and write an end-of-summer reflection and evaluation.
