Druid Hills United Methodist Church Fellowship
Description:
We are looking for someone who could help develop a project which addresses both personal and social transformation. One of the goals would be to help the church develop clarity about, and concrete ways to engage in, social justice ministries that include an evangelism component that is invitational rather than presumptive.
A more complete description will be posted after Thanksgiving - check back!
Unique opportunities:
Areas of involvement for the intern could include, but not be limited to, work with refugees, participating in our ministry with the gay community, engaging in interfaith dialogue and interfaith ministries, work with the homeless community through our “Intown Collaborative Ministries.” Other groups with which networking could happen is the Faith Alliance of Metropolitan Atlanta, The Interfaith Children’s Network, Six Star Refugee Program, and folks involved in working toward peace in the Middle East.
