And I see this also as a challenge to the students and Friends of The Beatitudes Society to take a good look at our own practices, (prayer, bible reading, relationships, as Hybels says) and ask ourselves what sustains our faith and our social change work. I'd say we need to practice our practices, and help each other do so, growing closer to God and one another in the process.
