GreenFaith’s Trenton Advocacy Day March 4
With a new governor in office, faith-based advocacy for the environment is vitally important. GreenFaith’s annual Trenton Advocacy Day will take place on Thursday, March 4 from 10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Click here if you’d like to register.
Join GreenFaith’s staff and volunteers in the Trenton Statehouse to receive a briefing from New Jersey Environmental Federation lobbyist David Pringle and from Dr. Nicky Sheats of the New Jersey Environmental Justice Alliance. GreenFaith is inviting legislators and their staff to join us, share their views and respond to our questions.
Participants will gather at the Statehouse, and GreenFaith will provide a light lunch and information about important environmental bills in the legislature. Participants are responsible for their own transportation to and from the Statehouse. Directions to the Statehouse will be forwarded to all who register.
Participation is by advance registration only and is limited to 35 participants. The online registration deadline is March 3, 2010. Click here to register for Advocacy Day.
